Mother’s Day cake decorating & wine tasting

What better way to celebrate the brave and beautiful women in your life than with wine and cake!

During this afternoon with Garneau Block, we’ll work through a tasting of three natural wines, chosen not only because they’re good, but because they’re made by women who care. Alongside these sips (and other sweets and snacks!), everyone will decorate their own 6-inch cake, working with soft layers of sponge, buttercream, seasonal fruit preserves, and local blooms.

All ingredients are intentionally sourced, with care given to seasonality and quality. The cakes will be fun, approachable—no pressure, no perfection—just room to play with your intuition, to make something beautiful, and take it home to share.

This is a celebration of all the mamas, mama figures, and mamas-to-be, of gathering, and of Spring’s sweetness.
